Ebola Virus Disease Outbreak in Africa 콩고민주공화국에서 에볼라바이러스병 의심환자 916명(사망 221명) 발생(5.25. 기준) The Democratic Republic of the Congo has reported 916 suspected cases of Ebola, including 221 deaths (as of May 25th) 국제적 공중보건비상사태(PHEIC) 선언(5.17.), 질병관리청 관심단계 발령(5.17.) WHO declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) and the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) issued an -level warning on May 17, 2026. 아프리카 대륙 공중보건 비상사태(PHECS) 선언(5.18.) Africa CDC declared a Public Health Emergency of Continental Security (PHECS) on May 18, 2026. [에볼라바이러스병 발생지역 방문 예정이신가요? Traveling to an Ebola-affected area?] 에볼라바이러스에 감염된 동물 또는 사람의 혈액, 체액 등의 직접·간접접촉을 통해 감염되는 급성 발열성·출혈성 질환 Ebola spreads through direct or indirect contact with the blood, body fluids, or tissues of infected animals or people. 초기에는 발열, 식욕부진, 무력감, 발진 등 증상이 나타나고, 이후 구토, 설사, 복통 등 위장관 증상 및 원인불명 출혈 등을 호소 Early signs include fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, and rash, followed by vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and unexplained bleeding. 국내 상용화된 백신과 치료제가 없으므로, 예방이 가장 중요! No approved vaccine or treatment is currently available in Korea, so prevention is essential.
